Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
Maintains accounting records by making copies, filing documents
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Reconciles accounts in a timely manner
Issue checks for accounts payable, process bills for payments
Entering key data of financial transactions in database
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/summaries
Other duties as assigned by management/supervisor

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1 year of experience in an office setting
Proficient with MS Office Programs
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with filing systems
Experience with data entry
Payroll software experience is a plus
Strong follow up skills
Self-motivated
